Do not listen to anybody who says that toilet training your child should take a certain length of time. As long as they're still asleep, children can't tell that they have a restroom need or that they need to get up and utilize it.

You may have to put a halt to potty training for a bit if your child slips and gets their bottom wet in the toilet. People get frightened when they see anything come out of their bodies and flush it down the toilet. Another thing to keep in mind is that your infant may be resistant to making certain changes. In diapers, they may feel more secure. Because you've been changing their diapers and otherwise taking care of them, they may find it difficult to take care of themselves now that they're used to it. Your infant feels frightened by the lack of closeness. He or she may not be able to take care of herself so quickly. This, too, is typical. If you want to ensure that your child does not miss you when they are no longer in diapers, make sure to spend time with them after toilet time to be close to them.
